Students learn about careers in Medical Health Care Fair

October, 13 students Wauneta-Palisade High School science classes directed toward the health fair Kearney, Nebraska purpose of the trip was to give students the opportunity to learn about different careers in the medical field. Students expand their knowledge about the scholarships and information about health careers.

The health fairs were represented by health professionals and enlighten students about what they are doing in their careers. Fair also information about the breakout sessions, which included social work, University of Nebraska Medical College of presentation at the University of Nebraska-Kearney student panel of sports science, health education course and a group of health professionals . Many health care careers ranging from medicine, chiropractic, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, public health, athletic training, speech pathology, biology and more. career in the health care field today has grown and now has a new career opportunities and promotions in traditional occupations.


WP, science teacher Teresa Hayes was interviewed about the trip, said, 'I was surprised that most students had never been in a job fair before today.' Advanced biology students who went to Kearney Stephanie Brown, Carl Cassandra, Elizabeth Echols, Caig Hackney, Bethany Riener, and Jone Maris. Those in the chemical were Sheyla Christner, Renae Gardner, Brett Klima, and Carlos Ramirez. Chemistry students were advanced, Jenae Bischoff, Jutta Jenna, Marcos Ramirez and Rebecca Strand.
